Rules of Riding
Bylaws
- Attend at least one scheduled calendar ride each month
- Participate in trail maintenance
- Participate in the John Cooper & Perimeter Trails Tour
- Pay dues
- Represent club at ALL times, whether on a club ride or not
- Initiate new people into club
- Follow all club guidelines
- Wear a club t-shirt or jersey to special or out of town events
- No whining! Rules and policies keep us responsible
- If you wish to participate in the summer bike trip, certain guidelines must be met and
followed
- Be role models for cyclists and all others who share the trail
- Attend as many group rides as possible
- Offer transportation/shuttle to help others often as possible
- Keep other cyclists and trail users accountable
- Follow the trail the ride leader is taking unless otherwise directed or agreed upon
- Follow any direct orders given by the ride leader if within reason
- Do not take unreasonable risks
- Never leave anything behind other than blood, sweat and tire tracks. In other words DON'T LITTER!
- HELMETS ARE REQUIRED! No helmet, no ride.
- Showing up with damaged equipment deemed dangerous means no ride
- Respect all others on the trail whether they are hiking, horseback riding or biking
- Never leave the ride unannounced
- NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL at Club Functions
- The club cannot be held responsible for your safety on club rides
- Take responsibility for yourself, be smart
- Mountain biking is dangerous, the club is not responsible for your injuries
- Absolutely DO NOT ride in wilderness areas!! Membership will be revoked!
- Stay on the trails
- No unauthorized trail building
